Dual Plate CHECK VALVE
The L&T Dual Plate Check Valve is a soft-seated valve that conforms to API 594. The valve is manufactured in Cast iron body and is available in sizes ranging from 50MM to 200MM. These Dual Plate Check valves are built to withstand pressure ratings of PN-10, PN-16 and ASME Class 125.
One of the most important features of this valve is its patented retainer-less design and high integrity sealing. These Dual Plate Check valves are manufactured in wafer design, which facilitates quick assembly as well as disassembly at site. The two independent seats in the DPCV help in consistent sealing, even in uneven flow. Moreover, the stopper pin in the valve prevents the disc from coming in contact with each other, thus preventing disc damage. It also prevents spring failure by ensuring that the discs don’t travel beyond the full-open position.
For special purpose and requirements, L&T provides the option of lifting eyebolt, for sizes 6” and above, and also special drain connections as per industry demand. The rugged construction, reliable bubble-tight sealing and on-line maintenance feature make the valve an ideal choice for all types of media.
