Lubricated Taper plug valves

AUDCO India Ltd. make Lubricated Taper Plug valves has been successfully used in a variety of services because of its unique in-line maintenance capability. The Plug and Body seating surfaces, which are lapped and matched, are not exposed to the line fluid; this confines corrosion and erosion to less critical areas. Sealing is further enhanced by a specially developed plug sealant, charged evenly around the seating surfaces. Plugs are impregnated with a PTFE based anti-friction agent – ‘SUPER LoMu’ which provides greater wear resistance and ensures low consistent operating torque.

These valves are Wrench operated, however the wrench is supposed to be ordered separately. For sizes 6 inches and above, the valves are supplied with a gear unit, for ease of operation. AIL Lubricated Plug valves are manufactured in screwed ends (as per BSPT and NPT standards), as well as flanged ends (as per Table D, CL-150# and CL-300#). The material of construction generally used for the body and plug are Cast iron and Carbon Steel.

Special variations in these Plug valves include Inverted type, Steam Jacketed type, Three way and Four way Plug valves. Quotation for these valves shall be provided by furnishing details about the line fluid, valve pattern, end connection, pressure rating, material of construction and valve size.
