Stainless Steel (SS) Y-Type Strainers
UNIVERSAL Valves manufacture the highest quality of investment casting SS Y-Type Strainers, which comes in SS CF8 (304) and SS CF8M (316) body. These SS Strainers are manufactured from sizes 15MM to 200MM, in flanged as well as screwed end connections. The Strainer is built as per Class 150# rating, and the flanges are drilled to ASA 150 standard.
Stainless steel Y-Strainers are mainly used for higher pressure applications because of their great strength. Moreover, they are used where high corrosion resistance or where freedom from contamination is required, popularly in the chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries. Occasionally, SS Y-Strainers are aslo used in the oil and petrochemical industry. They have excellent resistance to mechanical or thermal shock and these are important consideration in the event of a fire. Most oil refineries will not permit iron piping components for this reason.
UNIVERSAL SS Y-Type Strainers are a strong, sturdy and economical range of Strainers. They are well made and properly designed to last almost indefinitely. Its first cost is, therefore, not important compared to other features when spread out over a service life of many years.
